Never too early

It is never too early to read to a child. Cuddling up with a book is a great way to bond with your child. It is also important to remember that it is never too late to read to your child. Even children who can read benefit from being read to. Children can understand aurally words they can't read, so it is a great way to improve vocabulary as well as spending some quality time.
